What this covers

AutoSocial OS is a dealership content, communication and sales-floor platform operated for participating dealerships. This policy describes what information the platform handles and what happens to it.

Customer web chat

When you message a dealership through a monitored web chat link, your messages and first name are stored so the dealership can reply, and so the conversation can be reopened with your recovery code.

If the store has switched on its chat assistant, your messages are processed by an AI service to draft replies. Before any message is sent to that service, card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords and account details are automatically removed. Never send those details in the chat.

Conversations are monitored by the dealership. Replies may come from a team member or from the store's assistant, and a team member can take over at any time.

Test drives and driver's license images

Before a test drive, the dealership photographs the front and back of your driver's license. The images are stored privately, visible only to dealership management, and every viewing is logged.

License images are deleted automatically at the end of the dealership's documented retention period (90 days after capture unless the dealership has set a different period). Deletion is suspended only while a documented legal hold applies — for example an open insurance claim or a legal request. The test-drive record itself and the viewing log are kept after the images are deleted.

Phone calls and Do Not Call

Salespeople call customers through structured call blocks. Numbers on the dealership's internal Do Not Call list are never called. Where the dealership has activated registry screening, numbers are checked against current National and Florida Do Not Call registry data before a call is allowed.

Calling rules — permitted hours in your local time zone, call frequency limits, and the permission categories the dealership relies on — are approved in writing by the dealership before they take effect. Calls are only placed where a documented permission or lawful basis exists.

Social content

Photos and videos captured at the dealership are reviewed and approved by a person before anything is published to the dealership's social accounts. Nothing is published automatically without that approval step.

Your choices

To ask the dealership to stop calling you, to correct information, or to ask about deletion, contact the dealership directly. The dealership is responsible for its own customer data practices; this platform is the tool it uses.
